I use this in a Motorola Krzr. It's perfect for all the pictures I don't want to lose.
The card works fine. Unfortunately I found this out the hard way. My cell phone only handles a 1.0gb card (older phone). I can easily download picture to my pc without emailing pictures (saving $$). 1.0 GB cards are in very short supply. Luckily the card was available via Amazon. My only complaint. The shipping cost as much as the card.
Not much to say. Formatting in the phone posed no problems either. I purchased this for use in a cell phone like most others. Never had a problem with data being lost or unable to be retrieved. For the price you can't beat this deal. Highly recommended.
Perhaps all microSD cards are this fragile, but I'm trying a different brand next time. This card came with my Motorola ZN5 and worked fine in terms of compatibility and general use. However, after just a couple months, the card easily snapped in two while seated in a card reader. I also plan to use the "SD adapter" instead of using handling the microSD card directly. That should add some extra safety as well.
When I first bought one of these, a full GB on this small MicroSD cards was amazing. Now that I have a new phone, I grabbed a 4GB MicroSD card and gave my single GB to my sister. Now you can find 8(and I think 16 now) GBs on the micro drives. I picked this up to have extra storage and have a few songs to play on my old phone. Unfortunately its advantage is its downfall. If you plan on moving it from one place to another make sure you dont misplace it, it could slip through a seat cusion and never be seen again.
